Personal Accident Insurance

If you work in an occupation where you are at risk, are critical to the business' operations or are self-employed, it makes sense to consider Personal Accident Insurance.

Designed to support you financially if you suffer an injury, Personal Accident Insurance can give you peace of mind with cover for medical expenses, lost income and regular outgoings such as mortgage, rent, and utility bills.

Through a Personal Accident policy arranged by BHK, if you do suffer an injury and can’t work for an extended period, you may receive weekly payments to keep your finances steady while you recover.

If your injury is more serious, resulting in a permanent disability or death, the cover would provide for a lump sum to be paid either to you or your family.

If you’re thinking about whether Personal Accident Insurance is right for you, speak to the team at BHK and we’d be more than happy to talk you through this cover and how it might benefit you.

Travel Insurance

Most people recognise that it is sensible to take precautions before going on holiday. High factor sun cream, vaccinations, bags with secure fastenings; yet many take a chance when it comes to Travel Insurance.

A travel policy should cover your hospital care costs if you become ill or have an accident, and ensure that your phone, camera, or any other possessions or luggage you take are replaced or fixed if they’re lost, damaged or stolen.

Unfortunately, as brokers providing travel insurance we’ve had many encounters with unfortunate incidents that can befall a happy holidaymaker. Whilst we can’t guarantee that these problems won’t impact on your trip, we can at least help you prepare for them with the right cover in place, whether you’re over 55, travelling solo, globetrotting, or enjoying a family break

If you’re in need of any guidance around other factors that may affect your Travel Insurance, such as pre-existing medical conditions, are planning on travelling while pregnant, or are considering a trip to countries with travel warnings, then our team at BHK would be more than happy to help.

We can usually arrange travel insurance that covers pre-existing medical conditions. However, if for some reason we are unable to find you affordable travel insurance for your medical conditions, the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) has launched a directory listing companies that may be able to help you. The directory can be accessed by either clicking here or calling 0370 950 1790
